Rev. Curtiss P. Smith
Reverend Curtiss P. Smith is the Pastor of the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Pastor Smith is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, born and educated in the Duval County Schools. He is an alumnus of Grambling State University and also earned a Master of Theology Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Pastor Curtiss received his call to Ministry in March 1994 and was licensed to preach the Gospel in June 1994. He was ordained June 17, 1996 at Saint Nicholas Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida under the auspice of Reverend, Doctor R.W. Jackson, who was his pastor from birth. After much prayer, Pastor Smith was elected as the 14th servant of the Historic St. James Missionary Baptist Church of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In being led by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Smith has promoted the holistic approach to addressing the needs of the people that have been so graciously assigned to him. He has humbly accepted his assignment from God to reach the lost and message of restoration and hope into the lives of people. This humble servant has a heart for the downtrodden, depressed, trampled and outcast and his desire is to offer those souls a better alternative in life and that is to receive a New Life through Christ Jesus.
Curtiss is married to the former Jacinda Vinson whom he met while attending Grambling State University. They have four children Epiphany, Imani, Trey and Krislyn.
